Hyderabad: As a witness to an altercation that took place between BRS MLA P Kaushik Reddy and Serlingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, Telangana BJP official spokesperson NV Subhash criticised them for their non-productive war of words. Kaushik Reddy took offense after Gandhi, who defected from the BRS to the ruling Congress party, was recently appointed as the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, claimed that he continued to be a BRS MLA. The matter escalated after Gandhi’s followers attacked the residence of Reddy on Thursday.

Speaking to the media, Subhash said, “This confrontation is turning out to be a non-productive fight with expletives being exchanged liberally,” he also slammed the BRS president and former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for having created an illusion of Bangaru Telangana, despite having led the government for 10 years after bifurcation. “Under self-styled Father of Telangana’s misrule, the State has witnessed scams, but not any growth.”

Accusing the current chief minister, the BJP spokesperson said that A Revanth Reddy has no grip on governance, fiscal deficit and crime control, as he is keen on only poaching MLAs from BRS.
