Rape Case Booked Against Choreographer Jani Master

Hyderabad: A case of rape has been registered against one of the most popular choreographers in the South Indian film industry Jani Master @ Shaik Jani Basha by the city police. Several key aspects of the FIR registered by the police have been revealed.

According to the FIR, the victim was introduced to Jani Master in a popular dance show aired on a channel in 2017. Later, Johnny Master's team made a phone call to the girl asking her to be an assistant choreographer to him. In 2019, she joined Jani Master's team as an assistant choreographer. Jani had allegedly raped her in the hotel where he was staying when she went to Mumbai along with him and two others for a show.

In her complaint, the woman also alleged that she was threatened not to tell anyone outside about the incident. In her complaint to the police, the woman said even during the shooting, he used to misbehave with her when she did not listen to him. She said Jani Master often misbehaved with her and sexually abused her. She explained that Jani Master forced her to change her religion and marry him. When she did not agree to this, he attacked her by holding her hair, she alleged.

On August 28, a strange parcel was received by her and it was hung on the door of her house without her name. The victim revealed that inside the parcel box it was written "Congratulations for son be care full". The case, which was booked in Rayadurg police station, was now transferred to Narsingi police station. The woman who lodged the complaint is 21 years old. Meanwhile, Jana Sena Party has asked Jani Master, who is active in the party, to stay away from all party programs.
