BlackBerry opens IoT Center of Excellence in Hyd

BlackBerry Limited, security software and service provider on Wednesday officially launched ‘BlackBerry IoT Center of Excellence, Engineering and Innovation,’ in Hyderabad. The facility is designed to advance embedded software development for IoT industries. The new facility will host software engineers, and function as the Asia Pacific hub for BlackBerry QNX global developer network.

The talent here will build the next generation of software-defined-vehicles (SDVs) and advance innovation in medical, industrial control systems and robotics. After Canada, the India CoE is now the second largest for BlackBerry IoT division globally, hosting teams of embedded software engineers across technology positions and skill sets, including senior management, technical project management, product engineering, cloud software development, integration, and service delivery.
