Tirupati Laddu Controversy: Pawan Kalyan Calls for 'Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board'

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has immediately called for the formation of a ‘Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board’ at the national level.

He made this statement after it was found that cow ghee was used in the making of popular Tirupati Laddu.

Pig fat, beef fat and other vegetable oils were found in the samples that were sent to the Centre for Analysis and Learning in Livestock and Food (CALF) under the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in Gujarat.

Urging policymakers, religious leaders, and citizens that the time has come to protect 'Sanatan Dharma', the deputy CM of AP said the TTD Board has serious questions to answer.

"There should be a meaningful debate at the national level by all the policymakers, religious heads, judiciary, common citizens, media, and all other stalwarts in their respective fields, read a post on his X account. 

He found fault with the YSRCP government and TTB Board for showing negligence.

A complaint has also been filed by a Supreme Court lawyer in the matter against Jagan Mohan Reddy, TTD officials, and a ghee contractor.
