GMR Group donates Rs 2.5 cr for AP flood relief

Vijayawada: GMR Group has donated Rs 2.5 crore to the Andhra Pradesh government towards funding the flood relief and rehabilitation efforts.

The cheque was handed over to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday by the GMR Group representatives in the presence of other State Government officials. Severe rains and floods in the region caused widespread destruction, resulting in loss of lives, properties and livelihoods. GMR Group stands in solidarity with the state during this challenging time, the company said.
