CII AP Gives Rs 6.7 Cr To CM Relief Fund

Vijayawada: As part of the CSR activity, members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday donated Rs 6.77 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Responding to the appeals to help for relief and restoration works in the flood affected areas of the State, CII also donated food packets and water bottles worth Rs 4 lakh. The generous donation was handed over to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to support the ongoing flood relief efforts in Vijayawada and other affected areas in Andhra Pradesh.

The delegation was led by CII AP Chairman Dr V Murali Krishna, Chairman and Vice Chairman Murali Krishna Gannamani, Vice Chairman along with other senior office bearers.

Credai-Vizag gesture

Expressing concern over the plight of flood affected people, Credai-Visakhapatnam members contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The cheque was handed over to Credai AP general secretary B Sriniva Rao for passing it on to the CM Relief Fund.
