The pre-sale forDiljit Dosanjh's ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’ saw an overwhelming response, with 1 lakh tickets sold within 15 minutes.
The tour, which will span 10 Indian cities between October and December, had its pre-sale exclusively for HDFC Pixel Credit Card holders.
Tickets started at ₹1,499 but were quickly raised to ₹1,999 for the “Silver” area. Gold tickets priced at ₹3,999 also sold out within minutes, with VIP tickets reaching up to ₹12,999.
Some fans have begun reselling tickets online, with prices going as high as ₹21,000.
Social media was flooded with reactions, including one user who claimed a person spent ₹41,265 on tickets, sparking debate about the cost of concert experiences.
While some argued the expense was excessive, others defended spending money on what brings joy.
