Keerthi Richmond Villas Laddu Fetches Rs 1.87 Cr

Hyderabad: Setting a new record, the Ganesh laddu at Keerthi Richmond Villas in Sun City, Bandlaguda Jagir, was auctioned for a staggering Rs1.87 crore here on Tuesday. This marks an increase of Rs61 lakh from previous year price. This price is said to be the highest ever recorded in the Telugu States. Last year, the laddu was sold for about Rs1.26 crore. Every year, the Richmond Villas residents organise auctioning of Ganesh laddu as part of the festivities. The money raised from the auction is used for charity purposes.
