The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRA) has emerged as a formidable force against encroachments in Hyderabad.

The newly formed HYDRA has been demolishing various buildings built in FTL or buffer zones since it was established. Now it seems to be the turn of residents around Durgam Cheruvu Lake.

Recently, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued notices to 204 residents, including Reavnth Reddy’s brother Anumula Thirupati Reddy, celebrities, IAS and IRS officers.

According to the notice, the houses were built in the no-development zones of the lake.
