Atum Solar bags global sustainability award

Hyderabad City-based solar roofing system from Visaka Industries, Atum Solar said it has won the Energy and Environment Foundation (EEF) Global Sustainability Award 2023 in Gold Category for its outstanding contribution in the renewable energy sector. Senior Leaders from Visaka Industries received the award at a function organised in New Delhi.

Visaka Industries said the jury acknowledged Atum Solar’s commitment to innovative solar technologies and its contribution in reducing the carbon footprint. Atum’s Integrated Solar Roofing System combines the functionality of a traditional roof with the ability to generate clean, renewable energy. The company informed it has contributed to a reduction in carbon emissions of more than one lakh tonnes through its various projects.

Vamsi Krishna Gaddam, Joint Managing Director, Visaka Industries said, “This award reaffirms Atum Solar’s position as a leader in the renewable energy sector. Atum solar roof is IEC standard compliant and permissible for all types of solar installations. Our product also has patents from United States of America, South Africa, in addition to Indian government’s patent certificate.”
