T’gana CM welcomes senior BRS leader into Congress

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy called on senior Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, at his residence on Friday, as he accepted the invitation to join Congress.

The CM said that Srinivas Reddy has joined the Congress party for the welfare of Telangana’s farming community. “The State Government will seek suggestions from him on farmer’s welfare along with his cooperation to complete all pending projects in Nizamabad district,” Revanth Reddy said.

He further said that the Government, in the cabinet meeting, will take a decision on finalisation of modalities and guidelines to implement the farm loan waiver scheme.
