Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will launch revised pension distribution for poorer sections at Penumaka in Mangalagiri Assembly segment on Monday.
The TDP-led NDA Government increased the monthly social security pension from Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 with effect from April.
Later, the Chief Minister will interact with the beneficiaries and other people as part of the Praja Vedika programme. The State Government has already made the preparations to distribute pensions worth Rs 4,408 crore to 65,18,496 beneficiaries. As part of this programme, Naidu will take part along with other elected representatives and officials.
