Hyderabad: BRS President and former Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao, popularly known as KCR, was admitted to Yashoda Hospitals after suffering a hip fracture. This news follows closely on the heels of his recent defeat in the State elections to his Congress rival, Revanth Reddy.

KCR, known for his charismatic leadership during his tenure as Chief Minister, faced a challenging battle in the recent elections, signalling a shift in the political landscape of Telangana. Despite his loss, KCR remains a significant figure in the state's political narrative.

The former CM's hospitalization has drawn attention and concern from supporters and political circles alike, with hopes for his swift recovery. Yashoda Hospitals reported that KCR's condition is stable and is undergoing necessary medical care for his hip fracture. Doctors say it might take 6-8 weeks for the ex-CM to recover.

As KCR recuperates, the political arena in Telangana awaits further developments while his absence poses questions about the future direction of the BRS party and its role in the state's politics.
