Telangana Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

Under the leadership of K. Chandrashekar Rao, BRS has been unable to regain its footing and make a notable impact on Telangana's political landscape. Despite KCR campaigning in several places in Telangana and drawing large crowds, the pink party failed to influence voters.

Of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, BRS has failed to make an impact in any of the constituencies, trailing in all 17 seats.

However, the good news is that they are in second place in Medak and Khammam. Both the BJP and Congress are leading in 8 parliamentary constituencies each.

Congress is leading in the Bhongir, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda, Peddapalle, Warangal, Nagarkurnool, and Zaheerabad constituencies, while the BJP is leading in Adilabad, Chevella, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Malkajgiri, Medak, Nizamabad, and Secunderabad.

Additionally, Hyderabad’s BJP candidate, Madhavi, is trailing by over 66,933 votes (as of 12:15 pm) to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BRS, BJP, and Congress won 9, 4, and 3 Parliamentary seats, respectively. AIMIM won 1 seat. In Andhra Pradesh, the TDP alliance is leading in 21 parliamentary constituencies, while the YRSCP is leading in 4 Lok Sabha seats.

The counting of votes started at 8 am in Telangana, with full results expected to arrive by 3 pm on Tuesday.

Telangana witnessed a 65.67 percent voter turnout in elections held on May 13. Additionally, the counting of the by-election for the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency is also underway, with the Congress party leading the by-election poll.bjp candidate
