Visakhapatnam: Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VCCI) elected its new team of office-bearers at the Annual General Meeting held on Saturday. The new team took over with Sudarsan Swamy of SM Renergy as president, Ravi Godey of Grand Central Hotel as vice-president, P Rajesh of PBL Transport Corporation Pvt Ltd as secretary and Pawan Guntur of Sprint Exports as treasurer.
Their term will be from 2024 to 2026. Swamy, while thanking the members for reposing their trust by nominating him again as president, spelt out his plans for the next year which included making the VCCI more vibrant and responsive to its members, working closely with the government by trying and bringing in more investments to Vizag so as to generate employment opportunities, take up issues being faced by members to improve the ease of doing business, enable the members to get more exposure to AI and launch other social initiatives.
