UPSC Invites Applications for 45 Specialist Posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting its largest lateral recruitment effort, inviting applications for 45 specialist roles in various central ministries. These positions are for Joint Secretary, Director, and Deputy Secretary levels.
Positions and Ministries
Joint Secretary: 10 positions in ministries including Home, Finance, and Steel.
Director/Deputy Secretary: 35 positions in ministries such as Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Civil Aviation, and Information & Broadcasting.
Eligibility
Joint Secretary: Minimum 15 years of experience.
Director: Minimum 10 years of experience.
Deputy Secretary: Minimum 7 years of experience.
Age Limits and Salaries
Joint Secretary: Ages 40-55 years; salary - Rs 2.7 lakh.
Director: Ages 35-45 years; salary - Rs 2.32 lakh.
Deputy Secretary: Ages 32-40 years; salary - Rs 1.52 lakh.
