Thanos Tech, IFFCO team up for fertiliser spraying

Hyderabad: City-based Thanos Technologies, an agricultural drone innovation company on Tuesday announced its collaboration with the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Coop Ltd (IFFCO). Under the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), the company will facilitate aerial spraying of fertilisers over 10 lakh acres of farmland in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

An official release from the company said that more than 500 state-of-the-art drones will be deployed for the application of fertilisers, for which Thanos has partnered with drone service providers such as Vayu Drone, Aerotics Technologies, and Electra Agri Green. The project will bring in business value of Rs 50 crore for Thanos Technologies and the service partners.
