Reliance Industries Eyes 1:1 Bonus Issue

Reliance Industries has notified its shareholders about the forthcoming annual general meeting scheduled for September 5, 2024.

The main focus of this meeting will be the proposal to issue 1:1 bonus shares to shareholders.

Reliance Industries has a varied business portfolio that encompasses areas such as petroleum refining, digital services, petrochemicals, renewable energy, and retail.

The company has previously announced a 1:1 bonus three times, and in 1983, it issued a 3:5 bonus.

The latest bonus announcement was made in 2017. After the news of the 1:1 bonus shares, Reliance Industries' stock prices rose by over 2.5% during the trading session.
