Hyderabad man offers massive 1, 265 kg laddu at Ayodhya Ram Mandir

Nagabhushan Reddy, a resident of Hyderabad, has crafted a massive 1,265 kg laddu to be offered at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The enormous sweet treat, meticulously prepared over 24 hours by a dedicated team of approximately 30 individuals, will embark on its journey from Hyderabad to Ayodhya on January 17.

Transported in a refrigerated glass container to ensure its freshness, the laddu is a special creation by Nagabhushan Reddy, who owns Shree Ram Catering, a catering service established in 2000. The inspiration for this grand offering arose during the Bhoomi Pooja of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Reddy shared, "From the day of the Bhoomi Pooja to the day of the temple opening, each day we'll give 1 kg laddu." Thus, culminating in the creation of this impressive 1,265 kg laddu for the temple.

The journey from Hyderabad to Ayodhya is set to be a significant Yatra, with the laddu carefully protected in the refrigerated box. Reddy emphasized the collective effort behind this creation, stating, "Around 30 people worked continuously for 24 hours to prepare this laddu. It took us 4 hours to just assemble the laddu here."

The mastermind behind the sweet masterpiece, Dushasan, expressed his joy, stating, "I feel very happy. This is the first time that I have such a huge work. We have done this with very much hard work. We have made this laddu such that it won't get damaged anyway during travel."

In addition to this sweet endeavor, Ayodhya is witnessing a week-long Pran Pratishtha ceremony, including various rituals and events. The idol of Lord Ram Lalla is set to tour the premises of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple as part of the festivities.

The culmination of these celebrations will be the opening of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple for public 'darshan' on January 23. The preparations for this auspicious event are underway, with thousands expected to attend, including dignitaries and individuals from various sections of society.
