Fighter Stars wins DPL 2024

Hyderabad: The Fighter Stars team won in the final match of first-edition of inter-apartment and inter-locality cricket tournament DrinkPrime Premier League (DPL) 2024 organised here by DrinkPrime, a water purifier company.

Ten teams representing various localities, apartment complexes and cricket clubs across the city participated in the tournament. After a series of competing matches, the winner was declared.

The winning team in the final was awarded the DPL championship title and a grand prize of Rs 1,00,000, a media release said. Amer Jonty from Fighter Stars, and Nithish Boya from Sun Risers Eleven, were recognised as the best batsman and bowler of the series respectively.
