HSL Lauded For Timely Completion Of Projects

Visakhapatnam: Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary of Defence Production, praised Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) for its future plans and track-record in timely completion of various projects. During a visit to the yard, which is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence, he appreciated the infrastructure available at HSL and its proactive approach to managing projects for timely completion.

He also appreciated HSL’s efforts toward implementing the government of India’s vision for Atma Nirbar Abhiyan and urged the shipyard to further improve capital expenditure (Capex), invest in research and development, and increase the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies.

Sanjeev Kumar encouraged HSL to proactively pursue upcoming defense and commercial projects under ‘Make in India’. In an address to the senior management team, the Secretary (Production) motivated the employees, wishing them success and urging them to continue their dedicated service with the highest level of integrity to the nation.
