2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Lineup: New Models with Enhanced Design and Power

Triumph, the iconic British motorcycle maker, has unveiled the latest generation of the Speed Twin 1200, alongside the new Speed Twin 1200 RS. This new iteration boasts enhanced power, modern technology, and a refreshed design. The Speed Twin 1200 RS, in particular, offers a sportier experience with improved handling, upgraded suspension, and a refined braking system designed to boost the bike's agility. Currently available internationally, these models are expected to launch in India soon. Here’s a detailed look at what these bikes have to offer.

Triumph Speed Twin 1200: Design Highlights

The latest models feature significant updates from their predecessors, including LED headlights and a sleek new body design. The engine casing has been redesigned, and the bikes now include inverted rear shock absorbers and slimmer exhaust mufflers. The instrument cluster has been updated with twin digi-analog dials, blending a retro aesthetic with modern functionality.

The Speed Twin 1200 is available in three colour options: white, silver, and red, while the RS variant comes in black and orange.

Triumph Speed Twin 1200: Mechanical Details

Both the Speed Twin 1200 and the RS variant are powered by a 1200 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, which revs up to 8,000 rpm. The Speed Twin 1200 produces 107 hp and 112 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed transmission and a slipper clutch. The RS version features a bi-directional quick-shifter for smoother gear changes.

The standard Speed Twin 1200 offers adjustable handlebars and a seat height of 805 mm, while the RS version's seat height is slightly higher at 810 mm. The standard model is equipped with a Marzocchi fork and twin rear shock absorbers, with braking handled by radial 4-piston Brembo calipers on dual 320 mm discs. The RS variant benefits from a Marzocchi fork, Ohlins shock absorbers, and advanced braking components for enhanced performance.
