Brent Crude Trading Higher At $70.13/Bbl

Crude oil prices rose Rs93 to Rs5,606 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was up by 1.44 per cent to $66.70 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 1.36 per cent higher at $70.13 per barrel in New York.

On MCX, crude oil for October delivery traded higher Rs93 or 1.69 per cent at Rs5,606 per barrel in 11,677 lots. Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
