Hyderabad: Samsung's Vice Chairman and CEO, JH Han, recently visited the flagship connected lifestyle experience store, Samsung BKC, in Mumbai's Jio World Plaza. This marks his first visit since the store's opening. During his visit, Han emphasized Samsung's commitment to the Indian market, focusing on bringing AI and hyper-connectivity to tech-savvy consumers. He invited consumers to explore Samsung's latest AI innovations across televisions, digital appliances, and smartphones.

Han highlighted the role of AI in enhancing daily lives through connected technologies, emphasizing a non-intrusive approach that operates in the background. Samsung's open collaboration aims to make AI and hyper-connectivity accessible to all consumers. India, which is now a significant and rapidly growing market, is seen as a prime area for these advancements.

The 'AI for All' vision, unveiled earlier by Han at CES, demonstrates how AI will enable more intuitive and convenient interactions with devices. Samsung's Galaxy S24 smartphone series, introduced in January, embodies this vision with Galaxy AI integration.

Regarding India's market potential, Han was enthusiastic noting the country's sizable population of tech-savvy young consumers. He credited the innovative spirit of India's youth, highlighting the work of thousands at Samsung's R&D centres in the nation.

Samsung recently inaugurated the Samsung BKC store, designed to offer a comprehensive experience of 'One Samsung.' This concept showcases Samsung's latest AI innovations and their role in powering a connected devices ecosystem.

Having been in India for over 28 years since 1995, Samsung maintains a strong presence with two advanced manufacturing plants, three R&D centres, and a design centre, employing thousands of individuals.
