Alpex Solar appoints Gaurav Bector Global Head of EPC biz

Hyderabad: Greater Noida-based NSE Emerge-listed solar systems manufacturing Company Alpex Solar Ltd has announced the appointment of Gaurav Bector as the Global Head of its EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) business effective from July 1, 2024. His appointment will help boost the company’s plans to expand its footprint in overseas markets and grow the EPC business.

Prior to joining Alpex Solar, Bector was the General Manager (ME&A) of Dubai-based Qlite FZC. He has over 30 years of cross-functional experience across various domains, including sales, marketing, engineering, project management, new product development, vendor management and quality standards. He has been instrumental in developing businesses in smart buildings, LED lighting solutions, and energy management systems at top European multinationals, including Qlite FZC, Siemens LLC, Areva T&D and ABB Ltd. Mr Bector holds a B.E (Electrical) degree from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore University. He has also undergone the Emerging Leaders Management Training Program at IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad, a company media release says.
