Hyderabad: 10,000+ students attend ‘Rising with Kindness’ youth summit

Over 10,000 students participated in the second edition of the ‘Rising with Kindness’ Youth Summit, held at Kanha Shanti Vanam. This event, organized by Heartfulness in collaboration with The Commonwealth, United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR), featured an array of esteemed speakers and engaging activities.

Key attendees included Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Labour and Employment Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Dr. Hamdan Al Shaer, Daaji (Guide of Heartfulness & President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission), Deputy Chairman of Zayed International Foundation for the Environment; Sushil Ram from the Commonwealth Secretariat, Dr. RC Agrawal (Deputy Director General Education ICAR), and Brijesh Dholakia (CEO of Hari Krishna Exports). World Champion P.V. Sindhu made a virtual appearance.

Highlights of the summit included a fireside chat featuring Pragya Mishra, Lead of Public Policy & Partnership at Open AI, Neeti Goel, Founder of the Wht Now Initiative against cyber harassment, and Dr. Nivedita Shreyans, Director of the Youth Program at Heartfulness Institute. The evening concluded with a meditation session led by Daaji, followed by a Q&A session, and a concert by vocalist Shibani Kashyap.
