In light of the Ganesh idol immersions, Cyberabad will implement several traffic changes from September 15 to 17. Here’s a breakdown of the key restrictions:
IDL Tank Road:
Closure: IDL Tank Road will be closed to all vehicles except those involved in the Ganesh procession.
Affected Stretch: From the IDL entrance to Rainbow Vista.
Traffic Diversions:
Moosapet & Y-Junction to IDL Lake: Traffic will be redirected towards Kukatpally Bus Stop, KPHB Metro Station, and JNTU.
Khaithalapur to IDL Lake: Traffic will be diverted towards Anjaneya Nagar and Moosapet.
Road Closures:
Srinivasa Steel to Three Monkey Junction: This road will be closed to all traffic.
Budwel Extension to Himayathsagar Tollgate: This road will also be closed to traffic.
Heavy Vehicle Routes:
From Patancheru: Diverted at BHEL Junction via Tara Nagar Market, Tellapur, and Gopanpally.
From Gandimaisamma ‘X’ Road to Balanagar: Diverted at Bahadurpally Junction.
From Balanagar to Gandimaisamma: Diverted at Suraram Junction.
Gandimaisamma and Pragathi Nagar:
Traffic towards JNTU: Rerouted at Pragathi Nagar via Nizampet Village and Nizampet Road.
Traffic from JNTU to Pragathi Nagar Colony: Diverted towards Pragathi Nagar.
