Gold Futures Clock New Peak Of Rs83,360/10gm

Gold futures hit a fresh all-time high of Rs83,360 per 10 grams amid firm demand in spot market. Silver prices rose Rs192 to Rs93,520 per kilogram as participants increased their bets. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for April delivery hit a record high of Rs83,360 per 10 grams in early trade. The contract later pared some gains to trade Rs1,127 or 1.35 per cent higher at Rs 82,233 per 10 grams with an open interest of 16,273 lots. The next month’s contract also hit a record high of Rs82,210 per 10 grams. On MCX, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs192 or 0.21 per cent to Rs93,520 per kg in a business turnover of 22,178 lots.
