Welfare schemes, vax drive mark April in AP

Amaravati THE month of April was marked as a month of welfare by successfully implementing schemes like Vidya Deevena, Vasati Deevena, Sunna Vaddi for both farmers and women besides facing new challenges like vaccination, controlling Covid-19 and Tirupati by-poll.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started the month by taking the first dose of Covid vaccination and launching the massive vaccination drive in villages. Further, he directed the officials to ensure that at least six lakh people get vaccinated everyday in the State during 'Vaccination Utsav' of April 11-14. The State government has decided to provide free vaccine to all those who are in the age group of 18-45 years.
Also, the Chief Minister had launched AP Amul Project in Guntur, after starting AP Amul Palavelluva Project in 400 villages in Chittoor, YSR Kadapa and Prakasam in 2020.
Besides these, the government had decided to launch CLAP (Clean Andhra Pradesh) Jagananna Swachha Sankalpam programme ensuring proper sanitation in rural areas on July 8.
The Chief Minister had written letters to the families of Tirupati parliamentary constituency explaining welfare schemes and the benefits the families received through government activities in the last 22 months.
