A matrimonial conversation recently went viral after a woman’s harsh reaction to a typo in her potential groom's salary stunned social media. Kishwar Siff, a counselor with an NGO, took to social media platform X to share screenshots of the intense exchange that quickly escalated over what he described as a “small typo error” in his salary listing.

In the initial conversation, the woman showed eagerness for a swift engagement, while Siff suggested taking things slower to get acquainted first. They agreed on a possible mid-November engagement, at which point Siff clarified the typo in his salary information, explaining, “My salary is actually Rs 3 lakhs per year. An extra zero was added by mistake, so it’s not 30 lakhs per year. Thanks for understanding.”

However, his honesty received an unexpectedly explosive reaction. The woman launched into a series of verbal attacks, lashing out over his actual salary. Her response left Siff—and soon, many social media users—taken aback by her abrupt change in tone.

The post sparked a heated discussion online, with users debating everything from expectations in marriage to the importance of clear communication in relationships.
