What’s curious is that this tale has once again gone viral, even though similar stories have circulated before. Back in 2019, a similar account captured attention when a resident of Ellesmere Port claimed to have found a Nokia 3310 with an astonishing 70% battery still intact after two decades. That one turned out to be satire, but it hasn’t stopped the Nokia 3310 legend from resurfacing over the years.
