Hyderabad traffic restrictions for Republic Day celebrations on 26 January

In anticipation of the Republic Day celebrations at Public Gardens, Nampally, the Hyderabad city traffic police have issued an advisory, detailing road closures and diversions between 7 am and 12 pm on January 26.

In anticipation of the Republic Day celebrations at Public Gardens, Nampally, the Hyderabad city traffic police have issued an advisory, detailing road closures and diversions between 7 am and 12 pm on January 26.

Traffic from MJ Market to Mehdipatnam will be rerouted at Taj Island towards Ek Minar, Bhazarghat, Asif Nagar, and Red Hills.

The route from Nampally Railway Station to Public Garden will be closed. Traffic will be diverted to Chapel Road T-Junction, proceeding towards Gunfoundry and Basheerbagh Flyover.

Vehicles from Nirankari Bhavan in Lakdi-ka-Pul & Khairtabad heading to Ravindra Bharathi will be diverted at Old PS Saifabad towards various routes, including Iqbal Minar and Lakdikapul Bridge.

Due to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's visit to the War Memorial at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, traffic will be halted between Begumpet and Rasoolpura from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.

Citizens are encouraged to use alternate routes and can contact the helpline number (9010203626) for assistance during their commute. Only vehicles with Republic Day celebration car passes will be permitted through diversion points.
