The CCTV footage, now circulating widely, depicts two masked culprits wearing only underwear and gloves as they forcefully enter the premises and scour for valuables on a table. Upon discovering the theft on Sunday morning, school authorities promptly reported the incident to the police, who initiated an investigation into the matter.
This isn't the first time the "chaddi gang" has struck in Hyderabad, as they've been previously spotted targeting homes and offices in various areas, particularly on the outskirts of the city. Last August, a similar gang was sighted in a gated community in Madhapur, and they've also been active in the outskirts of Tirupati in neighboring Andhra Pradesh.
Authorities suspect that these gangs consist of members from other states, who strategically target locked residences and commercial buildings in the outskirts of towns and cities. The police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the perpetrators and prevent further incidents.
