Hyderabad: Railway Minister Ravneet Singh flagged off first of its kind “5 Takht special” Special Pilgrim Train from Hazur Sahib Nanded to five Holy Shrines of Sikhism at Nanded Railway Station on Sunday.

The special train to five Takhat Sahiban was organized by Shahid Baba Bhujang Singh Charitable Trust, Nanded. Jahender Singh Sahib Sant Baha Kulwant Singh, Sant Baba Jyotinder Singh, Sant Baba Narinder Singh, Sant Baba Balwinder Singh, Baba Ramsingh, Neeraj Agrawal, Chief Administrative Officer/Construction, B Nagya, Principal Chief Operations Manager, South Central Railway, Neeti Sarkar, Divisional Railway Manager, Nanded Division and other senior railway officials were also present.

Ravneet Singh said the ‘5 Takht special train’ is dedicated to Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj ke phele parkash Parv. The train will start from Huzoor Sahib Railway Station to Patna Sahib, Anandpur Sahib, Damdama Sahib and Sri Amritsar Sahib. It is a total 12 days travel Yatra accommodates 1300 devotees total free of cost and every stoppage more than 20000 devotees would pay their respect. The first coach in the train is a saloon in which the Guru Granth Sahib ji will be present. Langar facility is available for the devotees in the pantry car for complete journey. Every coach is fitted with speaker in which the devotees will be listening to kirtans. The train will cover the holy centres of Patna Sahib, Anandpur Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib, Damdama Sahib and Amritsar Sahib. The special train will commence its journey on August 25 and completes the trip on September 6 to reach HS Nanded.
