Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Quad leaders' summit in Wilmington, Delaware, where he met with US President Joe Biden and the leaders of Japan and Australia.

Modi emphasised that the Quad aims to support a rules-based international system in the Indo-Pacific and is not aimed at any particular country.

Biden noted the strengthened cooperation among Quad countries and introduced initiatives aimed at enhancing maritime security and collaboration.

Both leaders voiced their concerns regarding China's assertive actions in the region and reaffirmed their commitment to upholding international law.

In their discussions, Modi expressed gratitude to Biden for advancing US-India relations. Additionally, the US returned 297 smuggled antiquities to India, further solidifying cultural ties.
