MMTS Train Timing Issue In Hyderabad : When will it rain? You can tell when it will not come but it is difficult to tell when MMTS services will run and when they will be cancelled. Students and employees who believe in these are exposed to many difficulties and situations. Demanding that MMTS services adhere to the time management, they are facing a situation where they have to hold sit-ins and sit-ins simultaneously. However, passengers are expressing concern that South Central Railway is not showing any mercy. They are questioning why MMTS is being neglected.

The idea is great but the implementation is zero: South Central Railway has introduced multi-modal transport system for the convenience of the passengers after recognizing the needs of the passengers. South Central Railway has introduced MMTS trains to suit the poor and middle class passengers. With these, there is an opportunity to travel long distances at a low cost. MMTS trains started in 2003 under the hands of the then Deputy Prime Minister of India LK Advani.

Currently 88 MMTS: Initially six coaches ran 30 services. 25 thousand passengers used to travel in these regularly. MMTS services have been increased to 121 over time. Each service reached 12 coaches. During the lockdown, MMTS trains were confined to the shed for about one and a half years. At that time the passengers faced many difficulties. Since the lockdown, only 88 MMTS trains are currently running.

Big focus for technology in MMTS trains: Technology has been given a lot of priority in MMTS trains. In old MMTS trains, 700 people sit and 2000 people travel standing. The new MMTS trains can accommodate 1,150 people sitting and 4,000 people standing. CCTV cameras have been installed in the coaches where women passengers travel. Wide bogies were arranged. Jallies were arranged for the windows. Railway officials say that with this they have given a big platform to women passengers.

The special features of MATS are as follows: At present, MMTS trains are plying on Secunderabad-Nampally, Secunderabad-Falak Numa, Falak Numa - Lingampally routes. In the new MMTS trains, LED boards, details of the stations are revealed on the mic, LED lights are installed and bogies are arranged so that the light circulates well. Train bogies are designed with attractive attractive colors.

Braking system with latest technology, care has been taken to avoid damaging the engines. Comfortable seats are arranged for passengers to sit and travel. Hangars have been arranged for standing passengers. Wider bogies were made to transport more salmon. Compared to the old MMTS trains, the new MMTS services are modernized.

Currently MMTS services on these routes: Currently MMTS services are plying on Ghatkesar - Lingampally, Medchal - Secunderabad, Falaknuma - Lingampally, Hyderabad - Lingampally, Lingampally - Falak Numa routes. MMTS services on Ghatkesar - Lingampally route go to Lingampally via Ghatkesar - Charlapally, Moulali, Neredmet, Suchitra, Sanatnagar stations. MMTS services on Medchal-Secunderabad route pass through Lalaguda Gate, Malkajigiri, Dayananda Nagar, Safilguda, RK Puram, Ammuguda, Cavarli Barracks, Alwal, Bollaram Bazar, Gundlapochampally and Goudavalli stations.

Serving in a range of 125 kms: At present, MMTS services are providing services in a range of 123.5 kms. MMTS services cover 53 stations under South Central Railway. At present 88 MMTS services are serving the passengers. As a part of that, 20 new services are being operated on the Secunderabad-Medchal route. Two services are being diverted on the Ghatkesar-Lingampally route. South Central Railway officials said that 20 more services have been increased on the Falak Numa-Undanagar route.

Non-punctual MATS services: MMTS services were regular and punctual since the introduction of the MMTS system up to five years ago. So students travel to schools, colleges, private and government employees mostly in these services. Passengers coming to Hyderabad and Secunderabad from other districts used to travel mostly in MMTS services. But Ranura is not punctual.

The big problem is non-observance of punctuality: Criticisms are pouring in that MMTS services are not available on Saturdays and Sundays. Passengers are expressing their anger that they do not know when the MMTS services will come or when they will be cancelled. As a result, passengers of all categories are facing difficulties.

The employees are expressing their anger that they are not able to reach the offices on time. Students going to schools and colleges are facing various problems. Housewives complain that if they travel in MMTS services for any inconvenience, they will see hell. And the people of the city are questioning how old these tippas are. They are angry why they are canceling MMTS trains.

Passengers are angry that MMTS services are being reduced on the pretext of fire: MMTS services are being stopped two days a week in the name of track maintenance. They say they do not understand when track maintenance is being done. South Central Railway authorities are announcing that they are canceling MMTS trains on the pretext that there are no passengers. But in reality, the number of passengers will decrease due to lack of MMTS services.

Even now, the passengers are appealing to see that the MMTS services are not canceled arbitrarily and they should be observed on time. Passengers are demanding that central and state governments take steps to ensure that MMTS services are punctual. Passengers are appealing to the South Central Railway to ensure continuous running of MMTS services on the existing routes.
