YouTube: New Features in YouTube.. Sleep Timer, Customizable Mini Player and more

YouTube Internet Desk: Popular video streaming platform YouTube has introduced new features to attract users. It has introduced many features like sleep timer, resizable mini player, favorite play list. The company disclosed this through its blog post. It details how the new features will work.

Sleep timer

Many people fall asleep watching videos on YouTube. One way or the other videos are playing but cannot be turned off. YouTube has brought a new feature to check this problem. That's the sleep timer. With the help of this feature, you can set a timer and play videos on YouTube. Even if we forget to turn off the video or fall asleep, the video will stop automatically when the selected time is over. After playing the video, tap on the settings icon on the screen and the 'Sleep Timer' option will appear. Click on it and select the time you want. This feature which was limited to premium users is now available to everyone.

Thumbnails for playlist

YouTube already provides the facility to create a playlist. It has brought a new facility to send them to the people of choice with the help of QR code. Not only that, the thumbnails of the list can be created with the help of AI. YouTube said that you can also put your photos if you want.

Mini player as desired

YouTube has added new features in the mini player as part of multitasking. Usually on YouTube the mini player appears in the bottom right corner. We can do our work without moving it. But now you can change your mini player to wherever you like. Moreover, the size can be increased or decreased if desired. Along with this, it has brought badge facility for YouTube and YouTube Music apps. Some of these features are already available. The video platform revealed that some more features are coming soon.
