Xiaomi is set to launch the Xiaomi 14 series on October 26, which is expected to include a basic Xiaomi 14 and a Xiaomi 14 Pro, succeeding the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The company has been teasing the design of the Xiaomi 14 ahead of the launch, sharing some key details.
The Xiaomi 14 is confirmed to feature a 6.36-inch ultra-narrow edge straight display screen, and it will be available in at least a white colorway. Additionally, the phone will sport a Paris nail texture design, which adds a unique aesthetic element to its appearance. Xiaomi has also released camera shots from the upcoming smartphone, highlighting its camera capabilities.
Notably, Xiaomi's Phones Product Manager Cici Lao Wei has revealed that the Xiaomi 14 will have an "extremely narrow four-width design." The chin of the device will be just 1.71mm thin, and the bezels on the other three sides will measure 1.61mm each, making them even slimmer than those on the iPhone 15 Pro.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 14 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is also expected to feature a 4,600mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The smartphone will house a triple rear camera setup located in a square box at the top-right corner of the back panel. This camera setup is rumored to consist of a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor, indicating its focus on photography and imaging capabilities.
