Vodafone Idea Updates Prepaid Plans with New Benefits: Details Here

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced updates to its prepaid plans, focusing on improving benefits and introducing new options to meet customer demands in a highly competitive telecom market.

Vi has updated its Superhero Plans, which are designed for users with high data requirements. These plans are now available in regions such as Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, and Haryana, starting at Rs 365.

Subscribers to plans priced at Rs 365, Rs 379, Ra 407, Rs 539, Rs 649, Rs 1599 (offering 2.5GB/day), or Rs 3699 (with an additional 50GB for 90 days) will benefit from unlimited data usage during late-night hours, specifically from midnight to noon. This feature reportedly caters to users with heavy data demands.

In a statement, Vi highlighted that these plans are crafted to meet the schedules of data-driven users, enhancing their overall experience.

Hero Unlimited Plans: Continuation of Popular Features

The Hero Unlimited Plans continue to provide unlimited night binge data, along with other attractive benefits.

Key plans under this category include:

• Rs 349 Plan: 1.5GB/day plus an additional 5GB for three days.
• Rs 579 Plan: Comes with 5GB of bonus data for three days.
• Rs 1,749 Plan: Offers 30GB of extra data valid for 45 days.
• Rs 3,499 Plan: A long-term plan designed for extensive data usage.

Popular Prepaid Plans: New and Revised Offerings

Vodafone Idea has also introduced or revised several prepaid options to address a diverse range of user preferences:

• Rs 719 Plan: Valid for 72 days, providing unlimited voice calls, 1GB of data per day, and 100 SMS daily. After daily data is exhausted, speeds reduce to 64 Kbps.
• Rs 289 Plan: Includes unlimited voice calls, 4GB of total data, and 600 SMS over 40 days. Additional data is charged at Rs 0.50 per MB.
• Rs 249 Plan: Offers unlimited voice calls, 1GB of data per day, and 100 SMS daily for 24 days.
• Rs 138 Plan: Provides 10 local on-net night minutes and 100MB of data, valid for 20 days. Night minutes apply from 11 PM to 6 AM.
• Rs 128 Plan: Similar to the Rs 138 plan but with a validity of 18 days.

Vi has launched two premium plans under its Vi One Portfolio, combining telecom services with OTT and broadband benefits.

• Rs 1,112 Plan: Includes unlimited voice calls, 2GB of daily data, and 100 SMS daily with a validity of 90 days. Customers also receive subscriptions to SonyLIV Mobile + TV and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile for 90 days.
• Rs 4,219 Plan: Offers unlimited calls, 2GB of daily data, and 100 SMS per day for a year. This plan includes SonyLIV Mobile + TV and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscriptions for 365 days.

Both premium plans come with Hero Unlimited benefits and are available in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
