Following its global debut on September 13, this new foldable smartphone comes packed with impressive features, including a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, an AMOLED display, and a 50-megapixel camera. This announcement comes over a year after Tecno's first foldable phone, the Tecno Phantom V Fold, was launched in India in April 2023. The company’s post on X indicated that the Phantom V Fold 5G is now sold out on Amazon, adding, "But the story doesn’t end here. If you know, you know."

This teaser suggests two key points. Firstly, the new foldable phone’s arrival in India is imminent. Secondly, as Tecno refers to this as a "new chapter," it is possible that the company will discontinue the first foldable model in the country, although this remains speculative.
