TecHalli a nice moniker for Bengaluru
I believe this is a great initiative by Anand Mahindra to give a better moniker of TecHalli

TecHalli is a good name as most of the villages in Karnataka are called hallis. It will be good if a local Indian name goes international.
But 'Silicon Valley of India' will remain as it is derived from the US. It's what India likes. I don't think Bengaluru will accept TecHalli as the replacement for 'Silicon Valley of India' as tech is a common word.
Further, Bengaluru is a global centre now. If I have my word with Anandji (Anand Mahindra), I will tell him that he should stop being like the Chief Minister of UP and should focus on productivity instead of changing names.
