Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based startup NextSteps AI has announced it has been acqui-hired by Noida-based education technology (edtech) company Schoolnet India. Through this acquisition, the team of NextSteps AI will be joining the Schoolnet's team to enhance the latter's deep-tech capabilities to personalize education at scale.

NextSteps AI is a deep-tech (AI/ML) startup incubated at T-Hub and was founded by Gowtham Kumar and Srinivas Adepu, and mentored by Prof Shailesh Kumar, an expert on AI and Data Science.

Playing an integral part in the digital and deep-tech capabilities of Schoolnet, Next Steps has been working with Schoolnet since its inception in 2016. The Next Steps team has also been integral in the development of the Geneo platform – Schoolnet's K12 learning app-based ecosystem to enhance the learning outcomes of students in the middle and the bottom of the pyramid segment.
