Samsung has introduced its latest Galaxy A-series smartphones—the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26—bringing AI-driven enhancements and upgraded photography capabilities to the mid-range market. This launch underscores Samsung’s commitment to innovation while maintaining competitive pricing.

One of the standout additions in the new lineup is the ‘Awesome Intelligence’ suite, offering advanced AI-powered image editing tools. A key feature, Best Face, lets users swap facial expressions in group photos, similar to Google Pixel’s Best Take, making it easier to capture the perfect shot. These tools, first introduced in the flagship Galaxy S25, are now making their way to Samsung’s more affordable range.

The Galaxy A56 boasts notable hardware upgrades, including an Exynos 1580 processor and a larger vapor chamber for improved cooling. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a versatile triple-camera setup: a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. Priced at $499, the A56 is set for a US release later this year. The A36 and A26, priced at $399 and $299 respectively, will be available starting late March.

For UK buyers, the new Galaxy A-series models will launch on March 19, with prices starting at €299 for the A26. Samsung is also emphasizing long-term value, promising up to six years of Android OS and security updates. Additionally, the A26 comes with IP67-rated dust and water resistance, making it an appealing choice for budget-conscious users seeking durability and modern features.
