Samsung OneUI 7 update coming to older Galaxy devices in April – is your phone eligible?

After months of anticipation, Samsung is finally rolling out its OneUI 7 update to older Galaxy devices. Initially launched with the Galaxy S25 series in January, OneUI 7 brings a host of AI-driven enhancements and a revamped user interface. Now, Samsung has confirmed that the update will be available for more devices starting in April.

Which Galaxy Devices Will Get the OneUI 7 Update?

Samsung has announced that the OneUI 7 beta is rolling out from March 6 for users in India, Korea, the UK, and the US. The first batch of devices receiving the beta includes:

The Now Bar

Samsung is introducing the Now Bar, a new lock screen feature that lets users access frequently used tools like the music player, stopwatch, and interpreter in one convenient place.

Advanced Theft Protection

Samsung is strengthening device security with enhanced anti-theft protections. The system will automatically activate security features when it detects suspicious activity, safeguarding users' data in case of theft.

Sketch to Image Feature

A creative addition to OneUI 7, the Sketch to Image tool lets users turn rough drawings into complete images. Additional artistic effects like 3D Cartoon, Sketch, and Watercolor are also expected in the final version of the update.
