Excitement is building as Samsung prepares to unveil its next-generation smartwatches! A recent leak of test firmware has confirmed that three new Galaxy Watch 8 models are on the horizon, leaving tech enthusiasts and Samsung fans eager for the official release of these innovative wearables.

According to a report by Theordysm, who also hinted at an exciting update for the Expert RAW app, fresh details have surfaced about the upcoming model numbers for the Galaxy Watch 8. As noted by Theonecid, the Galaxy Watch 8 will come in two enticing variants: Bluetooth and LTE.

Here’s the scoop on the model numbers:

The Bluetooth versions are set to be labeled SM-L320 and SM-L330, tied to firmware L320XXU0AYC4/L320OXM0AYC4. On the other hand, the LTE models for the US are identified as SM-L325U and SM-L335U, backed by firmware L325USQU0AYC6/L325UOYM0AYC6. The “U” suffix signifies that these units are specifically for the US market. This naming pattern aligns perfectly with Samsung's previous releases, strongly indicating that we are indeed talking about the Galaxy Watch 8. To put things in perspective, the earlier Galaxy Watch 7 sported model numbers SM-L310 and SM-L315, so this progression feels right on target.

Considering that Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra in July 2024, it seems reasonable to anticipate the Galaxy Watch 8 to follow a similar timeline. This isn’t just a hunch; it’s a reasoned projection.

Thus, Q2 2025 appears to be the sweet spot for the launch. Coincidentally, this timeframe might also see the introduction of the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and possibly even the Z Flip 7 FE. And speaking of excitement, detailed CAD renders for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE have just been revealed—definitely worth a look if you haven’t seen them yet!
