Realme GT 7 Pro, Redmi A4 5G, and more; upcoming mobile launches expected in November 2024

As November approaches, tech enthusiasts are gearing up for several exciting smartphone launches that promise cutting-edge features, powerful processors, and impressive camera setups. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the most anticipated releases of the month:

1. Redmi A4 5G

Xiaomi is ready to expand its 5G portfolio with the budget-friendly Redmi A4 5G, first revealed at IMC 2024. Powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset, this model is expected to be Xiaomi's first 5G Redmi phone priced below ₹10,000. Though the official launch date is yet to be announced, Xiaomi has hinted at a year-end release.

Anticipated specs include 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The phone is expected to run on Android 14 with HyperOS 1.0 and could include a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, alongside a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C charging.

2. Realme GT 7 Pro

Realme is set to unveil its flagship, the GT 7 Pro, on November 4 in China, with an Indian release expected soon after. This phone is especially noteworthy for being among the first to feature Snapdragon’s 8 Elite processor.

It is likely to boast a 6.78-inch Samsung Eco² OLED Plus display with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz. Other expected highlights include up to 1TB storage, RAM variants ranging from 8GB to 24GB, and a 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging. On the camera front, it may include a triple rear setup with dual 50MP sensors and a 16MP front camera. The phone is also rumored to have IP68/69 water resistance certification and will likely run on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.

3. iQOO 13

The iQOO 13 is scheduled to launch in China on October 30, and teasers hint at its impressive features, though the exact price is still unknown. This model may see a price hike due to increased production costs, with previous models like the iQOO 12 starting around ₹47,000.

Key features expected in the iQOO 13 include the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, a BOE Q10 2K LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a self-developed Q2 gaming chip. It’s expected to house a 6,150mAh battery with 120W fast charging and run on OriginOS 5.

4. Tecno Phantom V Fold 2

Following the success of the original Phantom V Fold, Tecno’s Phantom V Fold 2 is set to make its India debut soon. Priced at around ₹88,888 for the previous version, this foldable model is expected to remain competitively priced under ₹1 lakh.

The Phantom V Fold 2 is anticipated to feature a 7.8-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6.42-inch Full HD+ external display, and the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. It may also pack 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, a triple 50MP rear camera, and dual 32MP front cameras.
