According to a blog post published on Sunday, One97 Communications, the owner of the Paytm brand in the fintech industry, has obtained merchant support and guaranteed uninterrupted service continuity.

Amid the recent controversy surrounding Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL), an associate company of Paytm, which the RBI prohibited from accepting deposits or top-ups in customer accounts, wallets, FASTags, and other instruments after February 29th, the blog post was published. The allowance for customers to withdraw or utilize funds from their accounts, which may include savings bank accounts, current accounts, prepaid instruments, FASTags, and National Common Mobility Cards, shall be unrestricted to the extent of the available balance.

Paytm's initiative for reliable merchant services:

When our associate Paytm Payments Bank serves as a back-end bank, we are capable of transferring these services to other partner banks with minimal disruption. Paytm stated that merchant partners can maintain the same access to solutions such as Paytm QR codes, Soundbox, and card machines.
