OnePlus 13T Confirmed for April 24 Launch, Specs Revealed

OnePlus has officially announced the launch date for its latest smartphone, the OnePlus 13T, confirming it will debut in China on April 24. The event is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. local time, with pre-reservations already open on the company's official Chinese website.

The OnePlus 13T becomes the third offering in the OnePlus 13 lineup. The company has disclosed the design and available color variants ahead of the launch. Promotional material shows a compact device, offered in three color choices.

Design-wise, the handset includes a flat-edged frame, with the volume and power buttons positioned on the right. The rear panel features a square-shaped camera island, housing two vertically aligned sensors within a pill-shaped enclosure. These are expected to include a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom capabilities.

Company executive Louis Jie confirmed via Weibo that the OnePlus 13T will sport a 6.32-inch flat display. Benchmark data from AnTuTu suggests the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device may feature configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The OnePlus 13T is also expected to carry a 6,000mAh battery and support 80W wired fast charging. Additionally, OnePlus is introducing a customizable 'Shortcut Key' in place of the traditional Alert Slider. This feature can toggle between sound profiles or be programmed for alternate actions.

The OnePlus 13T is likely to enter international markets following its Chinese debut, though specific timelines have not been disclosed.
