A report by the tech news outlet 'The Information' revealed that there could be a delay in the unveiling of Nvidia's new AI chips.
Reuters suggested that this delay will impact several tech companies worldwide.
According to 'The Information', reported on August 2, the delay could be up to three months. The primary reason for the delay is flaws in the design of the AI chips.
The delay will affect companies such as Google, Meta, and Microsoft, as they have placed orders worth billions of dollars with Nvidia.
The American multinational corporation and technology company launched its AI chip named Blackwell in March, following the successful unveiling of the Grace Hopper AI Superchip, which was introduced to advance AI and computing capabilities.
As reported by Reuters, there is huge demand for the Hopper AI Superchip, and Nvidia has started the process of sampling.
Reuters further added that production will begin as planned and is expected to significantly increase during the second half of the period.
Inside sources say that Nvidia has informed some of its customers about the likely delay of the AI chip.
