Apple has begun integrating OpenAI's ChatGPT into its devices, a highly anticipated feature aimed at boosting the appeal of its latest iPhones. This rollout is part of a broader implementation of artificial intelligence-powered tools in the new updates for iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers.

The ChatGPT integration, first announced in June under the Apple Intelligence initiative, allows Siri, Apple's voice assistant, to tap into the power of the chatbot. This includes answering user queries related to photos, documents, and presentations. Additionally, users can now ask ChatGPT to generate written content in any app supporting the new Writing Tools feature, and even create images using the chatbot’s image generation capabilities.

The timing of this update coincides with the peak holiday shopping season, Apple's most lucrative sales period. However, the gradual rollout of Apple Intelligence features has sparked concerns among investors about the potential impact on iPhone 16 sales.

These AI features are available on the latest iPhone series, as well as the Pro and Pro Max versions of the iPhone 15. Users with iPads equipped with A17 Pro or M1 chips, and Macs with M1 chips or later, will also have access to these tools.
